Guidelines:
1. Please make checks or money orders payable to: “Friends of Michael
Wildes.” Please note that “Friends of
Michael Wildes” cannot accept cash contributions and money orders
must bear the signature of the contributors.
2. The New Jersey Election Law Enforcement Commission contribution limit
for all entities is currently $2,600 per election cycle.
3. Contributions are permissible from individuals, corporations, labor
organizations, and PACs.
4. Contributions from individuals must be accompanied by the name, occupation,
employer name and employer
address, as required by law.
5. Contributions from joint account holders can be made with a single
check provided both names appear on the account and each
individual signs the check. A contribution drawn on a joint account but
with a single signature will be allocated to the individual who signed
the check.
6. Contributions may be drawn on the account of partnerships and limited
liability corporations, but must be
attributed in specific partners/members and will count against their $2,600
contribution limit.
7. Contribution checks from partnerships or LLCs must be signed by the
contributing partner/member or must be accompanied by a letter allocating
the contribution to the individual partner/member. If the contribution
is from more than one partner/member, all must sign a single letter detailing
each individual’s name and allocation amount.
8. Contributions may not be reimbursed by the contributor’s employer,
relative, or any third parties under any
circumstance.
9. Foreign nationals and foreign corporations are not allowed to contribute.
10. Contributions are not tax deductible.
11. State law prohibits contributions by banks, insurance corporations,
public utilities, cable, television corporations, and any majority shareholder
in these companies. The Casino Control Act prohibits contributions from
companies, which hold, or are applicants for a casino license in any state,
including any holding company or subsidiary of a casino licensee or applicant.
Officers, directors, key employees, and principal employees of
such casino related companies cannot contribute. Members of the Casino
Control Commission and their employees are also prohibited from ontributing.
