It's not just about sending money. It's about kids sending joy, hope and kid energy to impacted families.
Therapeutic humor champion and cancer survivor Saranne Rothberg, founder of The ComedyCures Foundation, coordinated the experience and approached Mayor Michael Wildes to help unite the diverse populations of Englewood school kids in this kid-focused relief effort. 100% of the proceeds are going directly to Katrina victims. ComedyCures is a 501(C)3 non-profit organization. This event is part of a national initiative to use Comedy to support Katrina impacted families.
