Students from Dwight-Englewood School in New Jersey raised almost $50,000 at the U.S. Open to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina.

``It was the perfect venue,'' volunteer Michael Miura said.

The students asked fans at the Open for donations for hurricane victims. The money raised will supplement the $500,000 already promised for the hurricane relief effort by the U.S. Tennis Association.
