Family Teen Center "3rd Annual Talent Showcase"

Mayor Wildes was present at the "3rd Annual Talent Showcase" at MacKay Park. Mayor Wildes has joined Margaret Temple and Hilda Flores of The Family Teen Center each year since the showcase first premiered in 2003 as part of their crusade to increase the resources available to the youth of Englewood in an effort to bring the community together. Mayor Wildes who is a strong advocate for the youth of Englewood commented that "I hope more citizens will follow Margaret and Hilda's example in helping the youth of our community. They have clearly distinguished themselves and we must see that the recreational needs of our youth are a prime focus in our City Council's agenda."
