Immigration & Mexico's Former
President Fox

Mayor
Wildes was invited to a private symposium and meeting with Mexico 's former
President Vicente Fox.
President Fox spoke on U.S. Immigration Policy. As a former federal prosecutor;
immigration attorney; and serving as the Mayor of the City of Englewood
, Mayor Wildes is fluent with our nation’s current immigration challenges.
President Fox's appearance comes at a time when immigration plays front
and center and part of the national and 2008 Presidential dialogue. On
the New Jersey front, Mayor Wildes was recently appointed by New Jersey
Governor Jon Corzine to sit on a Blue Ribbon Advisory Panel on Immigrant
Policy. The panel is looking statewide to successfully confront this issue
as it affects the Garden State ’s urban; suburban; farm belt concerns.
