Lillian Scales of West Street Honored by Mayor

Lillian Scales, President of the Tibbs Tenant Council at the Vicente K. Tibbs Senior Citizen Building located at 111 West Street was honored by Mayor Wildes last Friday, June 9, 2006. A City Proclamation issued by Mayor Wildes was presented to Ms. Scales for her volunteer efforts and community involvement. Ms. Scales was also recently honored by the Bergen Chapter National Caucus on Black Aged at the Martin Luther King, Jr. Senior Center .
