forum will explore the evolution of the U.S. policy considerations; our
national challenges; and cases the Mayor has personally been involved
in which have dramatically influenced policy.

Mr. Wildes was elected to become Englewood 's Mayor in November of 2003. He is a partner with the immigration law firm of Wildes, Weinberg, Grunblatt, and Wildes. A former Federal Prosecutor with the United States Attorney's Office in Brooklyn (1989-1993), Mr. Wildes has testified on Capitol Hill in connection with anti-terrorism legislation and is internationally renowned for his successful representation of several defectors who have provided difficult to obtain national security information. He is frequently a legal commentator/analyst for network television, most recently in connection with the terrorist threats facing the United States . Sample cases: Saudi Arabian diplomat ( Mohammed Al-Khilewi ) who defected after walking off with incriminating evidence of international terrorism and espionage Shoebomber Hero ( Kwame James ) who subdued Richard Reid, saving 197 passengers and crew members on an American Airlines Flight
