Mayor's Essay Contest

Mayor Wildes announced The League of Municipalities Louis Bay II Future Municipal Leaders Scholarship Competition at Dwight Morrow High last February 15, 2008. The essay contest is open to all Englewood Public High School Juniors and Seniors planning to continue their education after high school. In years past, Englewood was represented with a semi-finalist.

The purpose of this scholarship is to advance the virtues of elected and volunteer positions in municipal government while raising awareness of municipal government in general.

The deadline for submission of entries to Mayor Michael Wildes is March 15, 2008.
