NJ League of Municipalities Convention

 

Mayor Wildes is a partner at the law firm of Wildes & Weinberg, P.C., which was started by his father, Leon.  For more than 45 years, the firm has specialized in Immigration and Nationality Law, his areas of expertise.

This past week after the election, Mayor Wildes presided over and lectured at two symposia at the New Jersey League of Municipalities Conference in Atlantic City, New Jersey at the annual convention where thousands of municipal and elected officials convene.  

The topics discussed were Immigration and Migration Trends and the Challenges Faced by Municipal Officials and Overcrowding (“Stacking”). The Mayor has lectured throughout the state on these issues on which he is an authority, having impaneled a Housing Task Force and dealt personally with these significant challenges in Englewood, his community.
