What: A celebration of culture, literacy, education and the arts. Featuring
authors of all genres, children's performances, book signings, panel discussions
and vendor tents.

We need volunteers, vendors, exhibitors and authors. If you,
or someone you know would like to participate, please have them contact
us as soon as possible!
The New Jersey Book Festival will be held on Sunday, October 16th in Englewood
NJ. This event will be a celebration of literacy, education, culture and
community, highlighting our publishers, authors, story tellers, and other
entertainers. We are pleased to have the following corporate sponsors
supporting our event: Northern Valley Suburbanite, Panasonic,
Starbucks, NVE Bank, ShopRite, AT & T Pioneers and JPMorgan Chase.
Also Senator Jon Corzine, Faith Ringgold, and Julia Barr
are joining us as honorary chairpersons with Mayor Michael
Wildes as our host.
This will be a landmark event for both the Englewood Community Foundation,
and the State of New Jersey, as we hope to lay a foundation for an annual
event, increasing in size, attendance and reach in our efforts to increase
awareness and support for education and literacy throughout our state.
