Don't miss the historic inaugural red carpet gala induction ceremony for the first class of the New Jersey Hall of Fame on Sunday, May 4th at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center.

The Event:

4:30 – 5:30 PM: Red Carpet Arrivals

With a nod to the Academy Awards, our inductees, celebrity guests, voting academy members, board members and invited guests will walk the red carpet giving the public a chance to wave hello and prepare for the ceremony.

5:30 – 7:30 PM: Gala Induction Ceremony

Prudential Hall will be the site of this official state ceremony, which will feature entertainment, special video productions and the presentation of the inaugural class of Inductees.

8:00 – 9::30 PM: Private Reception

Our sponsors and special guests will join our inductees and other New Jersey celebrities for a private gourmet reception after the show.

The Ceremony:

The inaugural class of the New Jersey Hall of Fame inductees includes Buzz Aldrin, Clara Barton, Yogi Berra, Bill Bradley, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein, Malcolm Forbes, Robert Wood Johnson II, Vince Lombardi, Toni Morrison, Norman Schwarzkopf, Frank Sinatra, Bruce Springsteen, Meryl Streep and Harriet Tubman. We anticipate that most, if not all, of our inductees and/or their families will be on hand for this historic event.

Entertainment:

We are thrilled to have the popular La Bamba and the Hub Caps serve as our stage band for the ceremony. Made up of musicians from the Conan O'Brien Show and Southside Johnny, the group is led by Richie “La Bamba” Rosenberg, who plays frequently with the world's top entertainers, including Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi and Diana Ross.

Tickets:

Ticket prices will range from $250.00 for premier seating to $20.00. Tickets go on sale on
