Notice of Hearing

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that at 8:00 P.M. on March 28, 2006, at the Municipal Court in the Englewood Public Safety Complex, located at 73 South Van Brunt Street, Englewood, New Jersey, the Englewood Planning Board shall conduct a public hearing on the reexamination, adoption, revision or amendment to the Englewood Master Plan including but not limited to the following components of the Master Plan : the Land Use Element. Any interested party may appear at said hearing and participate therein in accordance with the rules of the Planning Board.

A copy of the proposed draft of these elements as well as of the Master Plan are on file at the office of the City Clerk at the Englewood Municipal Building, 2-10 North Van Brunt Street, Englewood, New Jersey, and may be reviewed during normal business hours.

Further to a recent meeting I hosted and in order to protect our residential corridors of our city on March 28, 2006, the Planning Board will be holding an initial public hearing on potential modifications to the Master Plan.  The hearing will continue our efforts to gather information; further assess; and better understand whether changes should be made to the Master plan and what measures should be taken to protect the Master Plan. The attached notice will be published and sent to the City Clerk of all adjoining municipalities:  Fort Lee, Leonia, Teaneck , Bergenfield, Tenafly, Englewood Cliffs and Bergen County by certified mail.
