Residents Day 2008

Mayor Wildes held his "5th Annual Residents Day Event" at Zeytinia Fine Food Marketplace on W. Palisade Avenue.

The event was co-sponsored by Zeytinia, Bergen Camera, Blush Salon, Citi Bank, Commerce Bank, Crowne Plaza , Englewood Hospital and Medical Center , Englewood Community Chest, Englewood Car Wash, Gross Sport, Inglemoor Center and Genesis Healthcare, HSBC Bank, Jet Cleaners, Lakeland Bank, Liberty Pharmacy, Liberty Travel, Midday Gallery, NVE Bank, Rite Aid Pharmacy, Roxy Shoes , Shoprite, Tiger Shulman, and the Law Offices of Wildes and Weinberg. The event gave residents an opportunity to meet their fellow neighbors and local business owners/organizations. Food and snacks were provided by Zeytinia and Matisse Chocolatier. The event was also attended by scores of Elected Officials, City of Englewood Municipal Staff Members, Chiefs, and Department Heads.

  On Sunday, May 4th, 2008, I will be hosting an event recognizing the New Residents that have moved into Englewood over the past year. It will also be open to all residents of the City to come and greet their new neighbors. The party will be held at Zeytinia, 10 West Palisade Avenue from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m. I invite you to participate with me in welcoming both new neighbors and old friends.
