Mayor Wildes performed a ribbon-cutting ceremony during the grand opening celebration held August 10th for Rite-Aid on West Palisade Avenue and also accepted a donation to help serve the community. Mayor Wildes chose the Englewood Volunteer Ambulance Corps (EVAC) to be the recipient of the $5,000 donation from Rite-Aid, which will be used for the purchase of a new ambulance. Wildes, an auxiliary member of EVAC, presented the check to the organization.
