Uptown Basketball League Begins @ MacKay Park

Mayor Wildes threw the first ball to officially begin the Uptown Basketball League 2006 season at MacKay Park. The Uptown Sports Foundation, is an organization that addresses the recreational and social needs of the youth of our City. Mayor Wildes has pledged his support to the mission of the Sports Foundation, specifically the Uptown Basketball League that was established in 2001. The basketball league will be entering its 6 th year as an organized league this season.
